Understanding Freemasonry
Freemasonry is one of the world’s oldest fraternal organizations, founded on the timeless principles of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth. It brings together men of good character who seek moral improvement, intellectual growth, and opportunities to serve humanity. Membership is not about titles or material gain. Rather, it is about building character, practicing integrity, and contributing positively to society while forming meaningful bonds with like-minded men.

Initial Communication & Introduction
Before progressing further, every prospective candidate is asked to provide basic personal information. This allows us to establish respectful communication and understand your background and intentions clearly. You will be required to provide your full name, current location, age, profession, and your primary reason for seeking membership in Freemasonry. Additionally, two clear passport sized photographs with a white background will be required for identification purposes.
The Masonic Journey Ahead
Entering Freemasonry is both enlightening and transformative. It is not a casual decision, but a lifelong commitment to moral integrity, self-discipline, and service to others. Candidates are encouraged to reflect deeply on their readiness to uphold the values of honesty, respect, discretion, and brotherhood. The journey demands patience, humility, and a sincere desire to improve oneself and the world around them.

Enrollment & Orientation Process
The enrollment process is designed to be clear and supportive. Prospective members will be guided through an introduction form, informal meetings with select brethren, and orientation discussions to ensure full understanding of the fraternity’s traditions and expectations. Throughout this phase, guidance will be provided to answer questions and prepare candidates fully. Progression is based on readiness and alignment with Masonic principles.
Selection, Legacy & Responsibility
Freemasonry is not open to everyone who knocks. Admission is extended only to men whose values, conduct, and intentions align with the highest moral standards. Those admitted inherit a legacy century in the making — a tradition of trust, honor, discretion, and mutual support. Each new member is expected to uphold and advance these principles with dignity and responsibility.

My Dear Friend,
Thank you for your interest in becoming a Freemason. This is an important first step of what could be a life changing decision. If you proceed, you might become a member of one of the most prestigious fraternities in the world. Our history goes back well over 600 years to the trade guilds of medieval Europe and beyond.
Freemasonry is a moral institution founded on the Fatherhood of God and the Brotherhood of man. It is not just a social organization with ritual, but a home for those seeking an educated mind and the very best in personal development. We are also a patriotic origination with a deep love of country.
Contrary to belief of many, Freemasonry is not a secret society not a religion. Neither is it a substitute for religion. Masonry is rooted in the belief of the immortality of the soul and of a Supreme Being, of which is based in the personal belief of the individual.
I encourage you to stay in touch. Seeking membership is a process and like any process, it takes time.
While you wait for a member of the Membership Development Committee to reach out to you on next steps, we encourage you to learn a little more about us and the organizations we comprise of. Browse thoroughly through the different pages on our website for more knowledge about freemasonry.
